Arrange to meet with one of our instructors and take an introductory flight YOUR INSTRUCTOR WILL THEN HAVE YOU DO THE FOLLOWING PRIOR TO FLIGHT TRAINING ***PRIOR TO FLIGHT TRAINING*** All you need is an Ipad then download a Cessna Trainging Kit or similar training program and download and subscribe to ForeFlight. That’s all you need to get started. You will need: OPTIONAL if not using Cessna Training System:Complete Gleims or Jeppson or ASA Preferred Purchase an Aviation Headset (preferably with ANR) Required - Apply for a Student Pilot Certificate Required - Obtain a 3rd Class Medical Certificate from an AME Additional items you will need: Hood Checklist is provided by us, each airplane has a specific checklist for is unique configurations Fuel tester Plotter Flight computer Seattle Sectional or Digital Version Kalamath Falls Sectional or Digital Version NW & SW Chart Supplement Guides or NW & SW Digital Versions Logbook Kneeboard Download these books/files: Cessna 172 POH Jeppesen Private Pilot Handbook (ground lesson material) - needs link Airplane Flying Handbook (flight lesson material) Airman’s Certification Standards VFR NAVLOG and FLIGHT PLAN FORM Download ForeFlight and subscribe to services Visit the Pegasus online lybrary
