Owner and operator of Pegasus Aviation Service, LLC, he has been a professional pilot since he was 18 years old. His first flying job was flying traffic watch for a Memphis radio station called FM 100. During his time flying traffic watch, Kevin continued to build flight experience and ratings, even obtaining a CFI while working as a traffic pilot. With his CFI in hand, Kevin was able to build flight time and more ratings. While instructing in the Memphis area he obtained his CFII, multi engine rating and a multi engine instructor ratings and became assistant Chief Instructor. Kevin’s first airline job was for a company out of St. Loius, Missori, Trans States Airlines (TSA). At TSA Kevin flew the ATR 42 and 72 as First Officer. Kevin held this job for a little over 3 years when 9/11 cause him to be furloughed. While on furlough he was hired by a company that held contracts with the U.S. Department of State. This company flew missions overseas in support U.S. government customers. After the state department Kevin found employment with Evergreen International Airlines were he flew as first officer on the 747-100, 747-200, 747-400 and was the initial cadre on the 747-400LCF AKA Dream Lifter. Evergreen experienced tough economic pressures and had to close its doors in 2014. Fortunately, Kevin was able to find employment again working under contract for the U.S. Government flying missions overseas in support of government customers. Currently, Kevin is employed with Kalitta Air, LLC where he is a 747-400 Captain.
