Contract employee minimum standards
ALLPegasus Aviation will only pay 1099 contractors, no check will be written without 1099 on file.It is the responsibility of the contract mechanic to verify the instructor has made a correct squawk entry in flight circle.If the instructors advised maintenance of issue but did not place in squawk in flight circle then the contract mechanic will make one for the instructor.Maintenance test flights are only done in accordance with FAR 91.407(b), at NO OTHER time will a test flight be done as it is not needed.All aircraft when parked on the flight line will have the following:
*Control Lock in Place
*Seat belt crossed
*Window sun shield in place
*Prop horizontal
*Tied down
*Doors closedWord of mouth maintenance squawks are not acceptable, must be recorded in flight circle
Contract MechanicAll aircraft maintenance must be tracked with invoices. ---> Download invoice here.All paid services will be based on tracked flight circle squawks. Except 100 hour inspectionsFlight circle squawks can be entered by the servicing mechanic, the flight instructor, pilot, student, examiner, or FAA inspector.All Flight Circle squawks must be acknowledged and either corrected, pushed to later or dismissed.All Repairs on aircraft done based on Flight circle will be noted on invoice for billing purposes. Must include date of squawk, minimum.Aircraft that are in maintenance will be marked on flight circle with a note stating work being done.When aircraft is ready for return to service the contract mechanic will clear the squawk and return it to service on the flight line. At completion of an inspection, a signed photo copy will be sent to info@pegasusaviation.net for each. And Flight circle WILL be updated. No major repairs or alterations will be done without owner concurance
Flight Instructors ALL CFIs must verify solo students insurance status onfile. ALL CFIs must update medical status, insurance states, aircraft checked, billing and contact infomration is current in flight circle!!ALL Flights must be scheduled, dispatched and checked in with baleance paid in full AFTER EACH FLIGHT WITHOUT EXCEPTION All CFIs are responsible for their own file and their student files located in the TSA/FAA file cabinetAll CFIs will report aircraft squawks in flight circle.All CFIs will coordinate mock check rides for their students that are about to take a check ride.ALL CFIs will monitor inspection status of the airplane and report if getting close to a required inspection. This includes verifying the website information, flight circle information, the white board in the office, and the aircraft book are all reporting correct current status.Garming databases are required to be up to date in aircraft. Bill Pegasus for your time when updating databases if necessary, but make sure always up to date. When Leaving for the day follow checklist on wall and Lock office.
